IceBowl is an annual 3-day hockey tournament involving students from medical schools across Western Canada. This event rotates between five Canadian medical schools. This year, we are expecting 500-600 medical school participants from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. It is one of the few occasions for medical students to meet future colleagues from those provinces. IceBowl is an opportunity for both new and experienced hockey players to represent their schools in a friendly competition. The goals of IceBowl are to build teamwork skills, enhance fitness, develop camaraderie between and within schools, and most of all, to have fun.
On top of hockey games all weekend, there will be social events both Friday and Saturday night.
