Learn about how Wellness Wheel is improving access to care in on-reserve First Nations communities and conducting community-led research! This presentation will include a panel of healthcare professionals and community members to speak about their experiences with Wellness Wheel.
What does Wellness Wheel do?: A group of primary and specialist health care practitioners provide on-reserve care to First Nations communities. They address chronic, complex, and communicable disease with a focus on community- led approaches and partnerships. The Wellness Wheel also has a research arm engaged in HIV prevention and screening, mental and physical health of those who have experienced intimate partner violence, and providing culturally safe care.
