Aboriginal, Rural, and Remote Health Group (Student Group)

Wellness Wheel Talk

The Wellness Wheel team has created an accessible and culturally responsive model of mobile care. They deliver care to on-reserve communities. We will be joined by several physicians on their clinical team. Topics covered include:
– What is the Wellness Wheel program, how did it start out, and how has it evolved until today?
– What is a day in the life of a Wellness Wheel clinician?
– What do you love about the work you do?
– Are there opportunities for students to be involved? (Shadowing, clerkship, electives?)
– How can we support the program as students and as future physicians?
