Ultrasound Scan Night (In-Person Session)

In partnership with Prairie Pocus, the USUS team is offering a VERY unique opportunity for students to gain some ultrasound experience through a guided workshop with doctors and ultrasound technicians! You are required to attend the virtual session in order to be ready and get the most out of the in-person scan night

Ultrasound in Internal Medicine

Are you interested in learning more about how Ultrasound in used within Internal Medicine?
Then come on out USUS’s (U of S Ultrasound) second event of the year, Ultrasound in Everyday Internal Medicine! This session is on November 2 from 12:30-1:30 on Webex and will be led by the incredible Dr. Irene Ma! You will learn about the many applications of PoCUS (Point of Care Ultrasound) in Internal Medicine while working through interactive cases to solidify your understanding.

The first 15 attendees to register will receive a $5 gift card to a local coffee shop so sign up now! The last day to register is November 1. A Webex link will be sent out following registration.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to POCUS

Join the USUS for an interactive virtual session with Dr. Olyszinski to learn all about point-of-care ultrasound! From learning when to use ultrasound to interpreting images, this event will provide a great introduction and the opportunity to brush up on your ultrasound knowledge in order to shine in your skills sessions, rotations, and future practice!
